    Left-back Joe Jacobson scored as Wycombe beat Lincoln 3-1 to move to the top of League One.
    Jacobson scored a 20-yard and then went via Michael Bostwick online.
    Then, later John Akinde had pulled back 50 minutes, Jacobson did it again direct from a 75th-minute corner with Lincoln keeper Josh Vickers well conquered.
    The victory guaranteed Wycombe moved to their highest league position.
    Lincoln were missing players due to injury and worldwide duty and it revealed throughout, with Jacobsen’s double giving them a 2-0 half-time lead.
    Tyler Walker hit a post shortly after the guys of Danny Cowley pulled themselves back to the 27, but there was controversy.
    Wycombe’s Matt Bloomfield and also Lincoln’s Bruno Andrade were down inside the playground with head injuries but play continued as half-time sub Akinde transformed Jorge Grant’s cross.
    Bloomfield was down on the floor for almost nine minutes before being stretchered off, however it’s understood that he did not need to go to hospital.
    Following Jacobson netted a third, Wycombe came close to a time with Nick Freeman’s chip coming straight back to the bar.
